End of Life Care
“How will I know it’s time to consider quality of life?”
This thought is so hard to navigate and we understand this decision is an extremely personal decision. Our team is here to support you and your pet, offering the utmost respect and care during this grieving time. One of the hardest questions to consider is to know exactly when and we can help answer any concerns or questions, including a quality of life evaluation. We have a dedicated room for all end-of-life appointments to help offer a peaceful, less clinical atmosphere, and all family is welcome to stay with your pet for as much time as possible.
We understand that sometimes bringing your pet to the clinic may not the best option, so to help meet this need, we offer in-home end of life care services.
Please reach out to our team if you have end of life questions/concerns or would like to schedule a quality-of-life evaluation.

Euthanasia
Is this the right time?
So many factors go into deciding when to euthanize your pet and each individual pet owner is unique in this decision. The top concern should focus on your pets quality of life.
What should you expect? Our euthanasia protocol is tailored to be as peaceful as possible for both your pet and you. Once you and your veterinarian have concluded this is the best option, your pet will receive a drug that will allow a deep sedation. You and your family are always welcome to stay with your pet during this time or you may choose to leave; taking comfort knowing you made the best decision for your pet.
At any time, our team of veterinarians are here to discuss the options available. We are familiar with the process and are able to speak about the feelings that accompany this decision.
Cremation
Processing the end of life with your pet is never easy and we want to assist during this difficult time by offering cremation services. This can be a way to help memorialize the life of your pet. Cremated remains can be kept in an urn, buried, or even a newer option available is taking a small amount of the pets remains and turning that into one-of-a-kind artwork. Please reach out to us to discuss the options available.
